Webinar 35 | Substances Hazardous to Groundwater

SEPA have recently updated the Scottish list of groundwater hazardous substances. The revised list and details of their use can be found on SEPA's website. This presentation will give an overview of the changes to the list. This will be followed by a refresher session on the assessment of risks to groundwater in Scotland.

The webinar will be presented by Isla Smail,  Principal Hydrogeologist in SEPA's Water Resources Unit. She provides technical advice and support on policy and regulatory workstreams that relate to groundwater quality. Isla is a Chartered Geologist with over 20 years' of experience in both the public and private sector, in the UK and overseas.
