ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The aim of the conference was to facilitate knowledge transfer in the land contamination sector. To coincide with COP26 taking place in Glasgow in November 2021, the overall theme for the 2021 event is brownfield remediation and reuse in the circular economy.
SCLF strives to deliver an interdisciplinary and diverse mix of presenters, with a broad spectrum of perspectives on the current state of land contamination knowledge.
PROGRAMME
The conference had 4 sessions based on the following broad themes:
Net Zero transition and opportunities for land use
Nature based remediation solutions
Land contamination risk assessment and sustainability
Innovative, low- carbon sustainable remediation approaches
