CONFERENCE 2021

BROWNFIELD REMEDIATION AND REUSE IN THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY

Our 2021 conference took place online on the afternoons of 8th and 9th September.

Thank you to all our speakers, our corporate supporters and for everyone who attended.

Visit our YouTube Channel where the recordings will be available soon!!

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The aim of the conference was to facilitate knowledge transfer in the land contamination sector.  To coincide with COP26 taking place in Glasgow in November 2021, the overall theme for the 2021 event is brownfield remediation and reuse in the circular economy.

SCLF strives to deliver an interdisciplinary and diverse mix of presenters, with a broad spectrum of perspectives on the current state of land contamination knowledge.

PROGRAMME

The conference had 4 sessions based on the following broad themes:

  • Net Zero transition and opportunities for land use

  • Nature based remediation solutions

  • Land contamination risk assessment and sustainability

  • Innovative, low- carbon sustainable remediation approaches
